What is the meaning of SimLock or SpLock?

SimLock is a lock that doesn't allows you to use any others net operator. For example you buy cellphone in D2 (it's Germany network) so your phone cannot be used for example in France in SFR or in Plus GSM in Poland or in Mobinil in Egypt. All cards from D2 will work so you may switch card form D2 to prepaid or bill account card but if you put a strange card in phone from other network you will see 'Sim Card not accepted' or something similar to this (depends on language in phone). Unlocking of this is very simple but please first be sure that it's not illegal in your country. If you have this information you can use for example cable or Universal Box to unlock almost all phones.

Security Code - this is a code that lock only phone and it's almost done by a person who use phone. After you put PIN in phone, phone will need also Security code to logon to network and operate with this mobile phone - without entering Security code you cannot use it. Of course you can always read this code by using special cable or Universal Box.
